Jan Van Maele 比利时鲁汶大学教授
Jan Van Maele teaches and researches communication at the Faculty of Engineering Technology at KU Leuven, Belgium. He holds a PhD in language assessment from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. His main research interests are intercultural communication and international education. He has collaborated in various international projects on these themes, including RICH-Ed (intercultural learning in Chinese higher education), IEREST (intercultural learning in student mobility), ATIAH (internationalization-at-home), and CEFcult (online assessment of language proficiency and intercultural competence). Before becoming a professor at KU Leuven, he worked as adviser to the President of Group T Engineering College (Leuven) for strategy, internationalization and communication. Currently a guest professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, he has maintained close academic relations with Chinese universities for over thirty years in various capacities.
