Through this lecture, students will have the opportunity to explore Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina, the northern province of the Republic of Serbia, recognized as a cultural and artistic hub. They will take a journey through the city's history to the present day, discover what it means to be the European Capital of Culture, visit museums and galleries and experience the atmosphere of Exit, Europe's largest music festival. Students will also get to know the city of students through the presentation of one of the largest educational and artistic institutions, the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where world-renowned artists from the fields of music, dramatic and fine and applied arts teach their students. Finally, they will be introduced to the collaboration between the Academy of Arts and universities in China.
Bojana Bokan
With more than 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing, Bojana Bokan works as Head of the Dean’s Office and Public Relations Officer at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Bojana is also an accomplished producer of documentary films focused on culture and art. She has realized numerous national and international projects, exhibitions, and events, including the Week of Chinese Film in Serbia and the joint student exhibition Heritage and Creativity, uniting participants from China and Serbia. A passionate advocate for culture and art, particularly among young people, Bojana coordinates international PhD students from China at the Academy, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and exchange.
