We all know that learning English well is very important for the 21st century university students in China, either to study abroad or to get a job in multinational companies. But is it enough? Dr. Liu, through his personal stories and compelling analysis, proves to you that being a good language learner is far from being sufficient in the multicultural and competitive world. Dr. Liu will present to you what global competence entails, and explain why it is necessary for every student to obtain global competence and how.
