Big Data Analytics for Predictive Modeling of Asymmetric Threats – The Case of the Global Terrorism Database

Dr. JIANG Bo（姜波博士）. Bo Jiang is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He spent six years working at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) and specialized in the areas of the Global Terrorism Database (GTD), radicalization, counterterrorism, and countering violent extremism. He is largely interested in applying methods from computational sciences to address policy-relevant issues within criminology and sociology.
