•香港城市大学合唱团
香港城市大学合唱团创立于1990年，旨在培训和发展同学对合唱的兴趣。合唱团为同学提供表演及提升歌唱技巧的机会，让同学在团体中表演感受和丰富大学生活。
香港城市大学合唱团经常举办不同类型的音乐会，不单在校园内有我们的歌声，校外的社区艺术生活亦有我们的足迹。我们积极参与社区活动，更有来自各地的优秀合唱团队来校互相切磋，以臻进入更广阔的音乐世界。
•香港城市大学中乐团
香港城市大学中乐团成立于2002年7月,旨在弘扬国乐、推广中国音乐。中乐团由一班中乐爱好者自发组成,并得到校方的鼎力支持。自成立以来,积极参与不同场合之公开演出,屡获好评。中乐团曾获香港城市大学文康委员会邀请于《国际城市文化夜》及与浙江大学联合举办的《文化艺术交流晚会》中演出。中乐团在校内定期举办各类型音乐会如《中秋迎月音乐会》,让城大师生有更多机会欣赏中国音乐。近年亦积极参与及筹办大型音乐会,如 2012年于香港文化中心音乐厅举行的《民间故事—龙情十年》十周年音乐会、2014年城大三十周年《让梦想飞翔》联合音乐会及2015年和2016年的城大艺术节。

语言类型学•中东宗教与文化系列讲座第二讲
小亚细亚是古美索不达米亚文明与爱琴文明联系的桥梁和纽带。赫梯宗教是苏美尔、巴比伦、埃及和古叙利亚宗教的混合物，宗教活动包括占卜、献祭、斋戒和祈祷，而不具备伦理意义。流行占卜和巫术。崇拜仪式在神庙或露天祭坛上举行。祭司应严格遵守洁净仪式的教规，住于神庙中。献祭用的牺牲一般为动物，间或也有人祭。此外，还要按季节举行崇拜宴，奉献初熟的果品和无残疾的动物。拜的神灵多不胜数。

语言类型学•中东宗教与文化系列讲座第一讲
赫梯语属印欧语系中已消亡的安纳托利亚语族。曾分布在小亚细亚（今土耳其的亚洲部分）一带。文字采用楔形文字，是拥有最古老文献的印欧语。1878年，索绪尔发表了著名的《论印欧系语元音的原始系统》（Mémoire sur le système primitif des voyelles dans les langues indo-européennes）， 提出“喉音理论”。半个世纪以后，人们发掘出了古印欧语赫梯语的材料，证实了索绪尔在半个世纪以前拟测的正确性。

国际公务员是指在国际组织等国际常设机构中工作的人员，国际公务员制度成型于1920年国联成立之时。经过近一个世纪的发展，这项制度日趋成熟，对各国的优秀人才具有巨大的吸引力。作为一个整体，国际公务员也成为国际合作与全球治理领域的一个重要主体，在政策制定和规范引领上发挥着重要作用。本次讲座将主要探讨三个问题：1. 联合国人事制度的历史与现状；2. 国际公务员如何促进全球治理的事业；3.国际组织招聘的要求以及如何进行准备。

在“寄希望于台湾人民”的战略方针的指引下，中央推出了一系列惠台政策。惠台政策为台湾民众带来大量利益的同时，这种经济领域交流的效应是否如大陆所期待的那样，外溢到政治层面。本文以台南市学甲区（原学甲镇）为例，考察这一惠台政策最直接受惠区域的政治变迁，进而见微知著，分析惠台政策对两岸关系的影响机制。本文发现，“经济获利”是政治影响的起点，“印象变化”是政治影响的关键。经济上的受惠，加之对大陆印象的改善，学甲的民意已经出现微妙的变化，这说明“惠台政策”的明确成效。这种成效还将产生了一定的“示范效应”，其政治效果不仅影响了学甲，还在向更大的范围扩散。在这个意义上，本研究是“软实力”策略的典型案例。

上外法硕“法律职业与涉外法务”讲座系列

Almost a year after Brexit referendum, Brexit still frequently hits headlines. As Theresa May has triggered Article 50 in late March, one cannot help but wonder how these two have come to current situation, what are main arguments inside Britain and EU, and what are the important issues in the UK-EU negotiations. Professor Lawrence Goldman is going to talk about abovementioned issues as a historian, an academic and a British citizen who have been there and seen it all happening.

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography is the national record of men and women who have shaped British history and culture, worldwide, from the Romans to the 21st century. The Dictionary offers concise, up-to-date biographies written by named, specialist authors. It is overseen by academic editors at Oxford University, UK, and published by Oxford University Press. As a former editor of the DNB (2004-2014), Professor Lawrence is going to reveal how the DNB has worked to present the most important men and women from all walks of life that have made great difference to Britain and how the DNB has changed during the process of rewriting British history.

Ni Shixiong, professor of international relations, is former Dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University and former director, the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, Shanghai, China. He did postdoctoral research at Harvard University(1980-1981);has made about 40 visits to the U.S.A. since then, attending conferences and lecturing at different universities there. During his visits, he met with many important figures such as Admiral Thomas Fargo(Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet), General Brent Scowcroft, Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Breezinski. In the past 20 years, he has also made frequent academic trips to some other counties(the U.K., Canada, Russia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Pakistan, Vietnam, Luxembourg, Norway and Sweden) and regions(Hong Kong and Taiwan).
Professor Ni’s publications include Selected Readings on American School of Thought in International Relations; Conflict and Cooperation: An Introduction to Western Strategies; Reflection of the Century’s Winds: Contemporary International Relations; International Human Rights; War and Morality: The Rise of Nuclear Ethics; From Normalization to Renormalization: 20 Years of Sino-U.S. Relations; American Studies Series and Contemporary Western Theories in International Relations. In addition, he has published over 150 papers and article on international relations.
Professor Ni is a Member of Social Sciences Council at Chinese Ministry of Education, He is the Director of Shanghai Shixiong International Relation Communication Center, Vice President of Chinese Association of American Studies. He is now on the member of committee of Social science, Ministry of Education.
