I will explore the complex reality of academic trajectories and will share my personal path from being a first-generation academic in Germany to becoming an Associate Professor at Tilburg University, reflecting on what I have learned along the way.

A significant portion of my talk will focus on the role of privilege, highlighting hidden advantages, how socio-economic and demographic factors influence who moves into leadership positions. Part of this presentation is also the imposter phenomenon, fraud, and failure, which are all part of academia. I will highlight the role of systemic issues, clarify characteristics of the German higher education landscape (#IchBinHanna) and precarious academic labor laws.

Finally, I will provide some insights on how we can move academia forward, with team science, author statements, and active participation in professional organizations. Throughout and after the talk interaction is very welcome.

什么是跨文化领域中的文化？本讲座旨在建议研究生在建筑学术过程中将自己的文化概念加以明确厘清，并与自己的文化经历结合。首先，本次报告将勾勒与文化相关的众多领域中对文化这个概念做出的一些重要的假设，以及这些领域之间的共性与异性。其次，将从主讲者自身的学术以及跨文化经历的角度，回顾其研究选择与方向来分享对以上问题的考虑。最后，将总结厘清文化概念与结合文化经历对研究话题，研究方法，论文写作与发表的影响。

The proliferation of so-called AI tools is disrupting different social spheres, with direct impact on the ways of doing and understanding research in academia. The widespread adoption of these technologies carries with it specific ways of representing, codifying and computing the social, as well as networks of knowledge-power that reposition universities in relations of denendency on large platforms. These processes run the risk of becoming black-boxed and configuring an epistemic ground, with effects on what is thinkable, sayable and true. This presentation outlines some preliminary findings from an action-research experience that seeks to prototype an AI platformvoriented towards digital sovereignty, in a collaboration involving several research groups in the social and communication sciences.

跨文化研究是全球化、多元化、信息化时代一个新兴的交叉融合学科，其核心研究内容是探究多元文化和跨文化语境下不同文化背景的个体和群体之间如何沟通，如何相处，如何合作。上外跨文化研究中心自2006年成立以来，致力于推进跨文化研究学科发展、科学研究和人才培养，在跨文化心理、跨文化交际和跨文化教育等领域产出了丰硕成果，成为享誉国内外的跨文化研究和人才培养重要基地。

跨文化研究青年学者论坛是上外跨文化研究中心为该领域青年学者搭建的一个展示研究成果、开展学术交流的平台。论坛邀请跨文化研究领域的知名专家带来主旨报告，并组织校内外青年学者围绕相关议题分享研究成果，交流学术观点，与点评专家深入研讨。

区域国别研究视野下的国际评论写作

科幻小说通常被认为是关于未来的，但在中国科幻新浪潮中，许多作家的小说与故事中却充满了与中国古典文化相关的丰富指涉，其中包括夏笳、长铗、钱莉芳、飞氘、宝树、张冉、双翅目、慕明等人。如果将范围扩大到华语科幻以及中国科幻新浪潮前后活跃的实验性作家，那么张系国、张大春、骆以军，以及华裔美国作家刘宇昆、匡灵秀等也应纳入考量。这些作家在其想象的文本空间中对古典时刻的呈现，大体采取三种路径：其一，将过去作为一种“不合时宜的存在”嵌入时间之中；其二，通过时间旅行回到古代；其三，构建历史的另类叙事。这些路径都对那种刻板的、面向未来甚至“未来主义”的类型惯例提出了挑战；在更为激进的层面上，当代科幻中的“古典性”表现出科幻与古典主义互动中的可塑性、可迭代性与流动性。这些古老的、失序的、不合时宜的时刻，指向科幻想象结构中的褶皱与空洞，其目的并非证明某种单一的世界图景，或确认一种关于未来的目的论视野，而是去检验一切可能与不确定之物，超越我们熟悉的世界形象，乃至任何已经被经典化的世界。
