My name is Judith. I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, to Lebanese parents and raised in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where I attended a British school called St. Christopher’s School before studying at university in the UK. I studied at Oxford Brookes University where I graduated with a BA in ‘Business and International Management’ and an MSc in ‘International Management’. I am a Third Culture Kid (aka TCK) and really grateful for being a TKC in spite of its cons.
After graduating from university, I worked for HSBC Bank but soon discovered that banking wasn’t for me. I moved to China in 2005. I lived in Xiamen from 2005 until 2008 and taught at TTK College for two academic years and then at Xiamen University for one academic year. After that I moved to Shanghai in summer 2008. I taught at Fudan University for one academic year before joining SISU in September 2009. At SISU I have taught many different courses over the years. This academic year I taught ‘Advanced Business English’, ‘English Speaking’, ‘Management’ and ‘Marketing’ in Semester 1 and now in Semester 2 I am teaching ‘Business English Report Writing Skills’, ‘International Business’ and ‘English Speaking’.
