主要面向英美文学方向的硕士研究生，由申报上海外国语大学第一届“导师引领学术计划”项目的两个小组——“维多利亚小说中的女性教育问题”、“隐喻视角下的中英诗歌空间”介绍项目研究成果，分享项目从申报到实施过程中的经验和心得。

本文认为句法范畴的对立有两种：一种是功能句法范畴与词汇句法范畴之间的对立，另一种是虚词和实词之间的对立。词汇句法范畴包括传统语法所讲的虚词和实词。功能句法范畴以特征集的形式实现。这些特征集可以分为两个大类：一个类是涉及时间的特征集T，和动词关联；另一个类是涉及空间的特征集D，和名词关联。本文认为，在词汇句法范畴内部，实词之间一旦形成对立（如名动对立），实词与虚词之间的对立也会形成。虚词与实词之间的对立实则是实词与实词（名动）之间对立的副产品。而虚词和实词之间的对立一旦确然，实词内部的分化和对立就会得到强化。在词汇句法范畴内部，实词之间的对立又和功能句法范畴和词汇句法范畴之间的对立密切相关。在英语中，功能句法范畴不具有词汇性，与词汇句法范畴截然相反，形成强对立。而在汉语中，功能句法范畴具有词汇性。比如，按照Huang （1984）的分析，汉语的INFL就是词汇性的。如此，便很难说汉语的功能范畴与词汇范畴之间的对立是截然相反的强对立。如果功能句法范畴与词汇句法范畴之间无法形成强对立，句法范畴内部之间的对立自然也很难指望会形成强对立。

Streaming videos are not just only a popular entertainment but an important self-learning tool for people and content marketing opportunity. YouTube has become a truly global video portal which is used by governments, media organizations, corporations and individuals to disseminate video content to reach local and worldwide audiences. What are the implications of YouTube and online videos for audience researchers? In this talk, Dr. Louisa Ha will review what we know about the digital natives’ use of online videos and discuss the five main research directions of online video audience research and the realization of the global village. This talk is based on her book, The Audience and Business of YouTube and Online Videos, published in 2018.

Online survey has become the most popular mode of survey delivery. Most researchers still assume people use their computers to answer online surveys. But many are using smartphones or other mobile devices to answer the survey. This talk will present my field experiment results comparing the response quality, cooperation rate and latency in smartphone and computer survey responses in different question formats, the pros and cons using computers and smartphones for survey field work and other research on innovative ways to use mobile phone for surveys that increase accuracy and response rate.

“亚洲文明与国际传播”学术沙龙以亚洲文明传播和融通的典型案例的呈现方式来讨论和研究亚洲文明国际传播的新现象、新趋势和新热点，并从中凝练和总结亚洲文明国际传播的新范式和融通交流的新模式。预计将为亚洲文明对话大会提供学术支持，为人类命运共同体建设提供精神支撑，为中外学者提供探索亚洲文明国际传播的学术交流平台。 

President Xi Jinping has pointed out that it is necessary to promote exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations, learn from each other, and make progress together. He has also advocated the convening of the Conference on Dialogue among Asian Civilizations and the Asian Civilization Dialogue Conference.
The Academic Salon of Asian Civilizations and International Communication addresses the new phenomena, trends and focuses on effective international communication of Asian civilizations by presenting typical case studies of Asian civilizations, and summarizes new paradigms of the international communication and new modes and exchanges of Asian civilizations. It is expected to provide academic support for the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, support for a community of shared future as a whole, and in an effort to promote academic exchanges among Chinese and international scholars.
